Aye Caramba!

Hola Mi Amigos,

I'm back from Spain and thank GOD!! As much as I loved the sandy beaches and gorgeous sunshine, I just could not stomach the food. It might have just been then area (Salou and very touristy) but I so wanted to enjoy amazing quantities of seafood. Alas, after seeing a pallela for the second go, I decided it was in my best interest to stick to the hamburger and chips opition. I will say, the food was the only downer of my holiday. It was supposed to rain the entire time but instead we enjoyed lush blue skies and glorious hot weather. I have a tan to prove it!

Did anyone else realise that the lead singer of Rooney was in Princess Diaries? To think, that scummy bad acting scumbag known as Anne Hathaway (if that's her real name) got to kiss such beautifully singing lips. I'm not crazy here. It's a fact

back in gear

I've only got 3 more weeks until my dublin trip and i'm getting so excited. Recently, I'll I've needed is a vacation, not just a day off, but a getaway. I've got all kinds of stuff planned, the guinness factory tour, temple bar slosh up and shopping to my hearts content. hope it's warm!

one small step for extralime

So I had a call back today from an agency. They want to meet with me wednesday morning. I'm incredibly calm right now. I'm not going to take this as a good thing or a bad thing. She said it was extremely rare for the companies they work with to take on work permit holders but she'll definately try for me.

I'm having a bad wear day

For some reason, my outfit looked awesome the other day when I tried it on, but today it looks totally frumpy! I so didn't get fat in three days so what happened? I'm convinced that although on one day your outfit can look amazing, other days, it looks deflated and not trendy. Just like your hair, you can have a bad fit day... or as I like to say, bad wear day. This never used to be the case when I had forever 21 down the road. I feel like I'm so out of touch with fashion these days. Only because I can't afford it I'm sure. I went way over my mark for February so this month I'm trying to rein things in. Don't worry Danielle, your trip over here will not suffer... you are in my budget ;)

The job searching is still going slow. I'm not sure if I'd like to keep it that way or not. MTV hasn't called back but when I called them today they seemed a little optimistic. I have a feeling they looked at the old resume I sent in rather than the new one. In this case, I'm sure I won't get a call back since it has all my old information on it - meaning no experience what-so-ever. I will not be discouraged though. I will stay on my little white horse and move on. It will at least give me more time to write.

March Comes in like a Lion

Unless you call a bad case of diarrhea a lion, then March looks like it's off to a bad start. Thank God Danielle is coming on Friday. I'm so in need of a good girls night out. Especially ones involving loud music, gin & tonic, and washing machines. I think I may have found a bar kind of like shorty's and West Chester so we might be in for a good night (only drawback is a £3 cover charge - but you can use the coat check).

I need to get some work done so more blogging later.

Job Hunt

As some of you may already know, I am in search of a new job which is why I am sometimes in a happy, bubbly mood and sometimes in a completely pissed off - don't fuck with me mood. I think I've started off pretty good but that was until MTV never called back. I've done everything I can with them. The job closed 2 weeks ago, and I don't know what else to do. I may try calling back next week, but I would hate to be annoying. Someone from Channel 5 told me they liked my gumption but I think it can only go so far before it becomes annoying - like the guy at work who everyone hates because he asks too many questions. I really hope I'm not that guy at my work. I don't think I am. I'm pretty sure I'm the sarcastic bitch that everyone gets along with.
Anyway, wish my luck with the job thing, and if anyone knows about a position you think I'm perfect for, then let me know.

Simple Minds

I love absolutely cute things. There is an artist that I am in love with that makes the most amazing, lovely little cute things. She's the black apple (http://theblackapple.typepad.com/inside_a_black_apple/). I just bought some adorable stationary from her. And I get such inspiration from viewing her sight. Why else would I make pineapple upside down cake at two in the morning on a Sunday night.



Moving on, I'm sooooo excited about my friend visiting me on 7 March. I haven't seen her since Christmas and I can't wait to take her out in my hometown.



Ooo Ooo, I got a hamster! It's a sweet little Russian dwarf hamster and I love it! His name is Vladimir and I think he'll be a star subject for my sketches. I need to work on it but I'm sure I'll have some nice sketches to post soon. In the meantime, check out Valdimir and I next to my newly painted green walls.

Take me to Thailand

I've finally decided that I will never become famous despite my lathargic efforts. I'm just too fat, not funny and completely unmotivated. More than anything though, I want the freakin money. Does any one else want to go to Thailand? Do you have enough money to take us both?
